Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (Monthly)

This dataset presents the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) which tracks changes in the price level of a basket of consumer goods and services over time, serving as a key indicator of inflation. The HICP is calculated according to rules specified in a series of European Union (EU) regulations that were developed by Eurostat in conjunction with the EU Member States. Data is published monthly with a base year 2025 and is split by the 13 main divisions of the ECOICOP ver. 2 (European Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose, version 2).
