The National Data Portal is a one-stop shop for discovering, viewing and downloading open data held by Public Administration. Open-data services and functionality are made available publicly to everyone and internal data sharing is restricted to Public Administration Officers and other authorised persons.

The Portal is overseen by The Data Governance Council which is chaired by the Chief Data Officer within the Office of the Prime Minister.

The population of datasets and registers are being supported with EU Funds.
